DEFINITION

Vertical Milling Machine.

The direction of the spindle of this machine is Vertical and the spindle head can be clamped by turning it at any angle from 0 ° to 90 on both sides.  The spindle of this machine can also be turned up and down like a drilling machine.  Drills, End Mill, Shell End Mills, Facing Cutters and some similar shank cutters can also be clamped on this machine.  By which T-slot, Dove Tail, Segment, Grooving, Boring, Drilling, Recessing, Cam Milling, Profiling  Profiling, Die Sinking etc. milling operations can be done

COLUM

colum base k oper aik side pe laga hota hai. is k under machine ka mechanism set kiya gaya hota hai. pulley, motor aur gear system etc. jo in ko cover krne k sath housing ka kam b sr injam deta hai. 

OVER ARM

ye colum k uper lagi hoti hai. isko gray cost iron se banaya jata hai. over arm vertical milling machine k head ko support krta hai. over arm ko ram b kaha jata hai.

HEAD

head k under spindle fit hota hai. jo k cutter aur arbour ko operate karne mein help karta hai. 

SPINDLE

spindle k sath pulley ya gear mechanism set hota hai. jin ko motor k sath connect kiya gaya hota hai. jaha se motion milta hai spindle ko aur ye next forward krta hai arbour ya cutter ko.

SPINDLE NOSE

ye spindle k corner pe fit hoti hai. jo k under se taper hoti hai. taper hone ki waja se is k under arbour ko lagaya jata hai.

ARBOUR

Arbour aik rod numa yani ek extension load hai. jo spindle k under fit ho jati hai aur upni rotation motion ko aage cutter tak transfer karta hai. arbour cutter k size k lehaz se choose ki jati hai aur ye vertical position me fit hoti hai is liye ise vertical milling machine kahte hai.
