HEAD STOCK is k under gear lage hote hai. jin ko different tarteeb se different function operate krwane k liye lgaya jata hai. is k ilawa is k oper motor ko on off krne k kiye button lga hota hai.
SPINDLE ye head stock wale hissa me lga hota hai. spindle under se hollow ( khali ) hota hai. is k oper thread katte hote hai. is thread k oper chuck ko tite (fit) kiya jata hai. yani ye kaha ja skta hai. k spindle ek bolt ka kam krti hai. aur chuck ek bolt ka. jnmb in dono ko ek dusare k sath tite kiya jata hai. to ye ek assembly bn jati hai.
CHUCK chuck job ko clamp krne liye use kiya jata hai. ye chuck 2 tarah k hote hai. i) 3 jaws chuck ii) 4 jaws chuck 3 jaws chuck ko hum universal jaws chuck b kahte hai. q k jb hum ek jaws ko harkat krwate hai. to ye 3 jaws ek sath harkt krne lg jate hai. ye gol type k job ko hold krne liye use hote hai.. jab k 2nd type k chuck se hum square, rectangular job ko clamp kr skte hai. is ka hr ek jaws alg alg move krta hai. in dono me ye farq clear hai
TAIL STOCK ye chuck k opposite yani right hand ki janib lga hota hai. ye b cost iron ka bana hota hai. ye moveable hota hai. jo chuck ki taraf chalta hai. kam k mutabiq is ko age peeche kiya ja skta hai. jb lathe machine pr ek long shaft ya rod ko clamp kiya jata hai. to 2nd side se tail stock ise sport krta hai. is k sath dead center laga hota hai. jise hand wheel ki madad se age peeche kiya ja skta hai. aur dead center ko khas limit tk le ja kr lock b kiya ja skta hai. jise ram clamp kahte hai.
PULLY ye head stock k sath ka hissa hai. jo gear ko chlati hai. ise main drive pully b kahte hai. jo belt k zriye motor se connect hoti hai.

Machine shop k kisi b amal me cutting speed ko hamesha fee minute / meter fee minute beyan kiya jata hai. Lathe Machine pr kam krte waqt worpiece 1 minute mein jitni bar cutting karne wale tool ki noke se takraye ga. wo daira (circle) is ki raftar ho gi. Tool ka job ki satah pr akai waqt mein teh krda fasla Cutting speed kehlata hai. cutting speed meter/minute mein hoti hai.
